Information reaching our News Desk from a very reliable source suggests very strongly that the foremost political opponent, Mohammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress(APC), to the Presidential flag bearer of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and incumbent president of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has beaten his his arch opponent by 12 votes right inside the president's office.
Inside the president's office there are two polling units. The results from these polling units goes thus: Goodluck Jonathan (PDP) 595; Mohammadu Buhari(APC) 507.
These results suggest that the president does not enjoy unanimity of support from his aides. Again, it tells how the overall results will go. While we may not predict results, INEC has said that they are almost about to begin announcing results state by state. However, the final results will be available by Tuesday 31 March. But, begin from their announcement today, Nigerians should be able to infer who their next president will be.
