Arsenal are looking forward to make an additional signing in other to give them more options forward, due to a long and cluster season of fixtures as they have taken interest in signing Juventus striker Fernando Llorente.
According to a source in Italy Corriere dello Sport, the Spanish striker's agent flew to London this week to discuss with the Gunners a potential move to Arsenal. The deal which is reported in the region of £8.5m, clearly will favour Arsene Wenger's thrift nature of spending, which he could regard as penny wise.
Llorente who had a limited number of chances last season for Juventus, is seen as an ideal support to French striker Oliver Giroud.
Manchester United who were reportedly also interested in the player, could miss out on this one as Arsenal are already close to finalising a deal for the striker.
