The self acclaimed 'Special One' has two pending disciplinary charge against him, as he prepares to face the Reds at Stamford Bridge, early kickoff.

The Chelsea boss had until Thursday evening to respond to a misconduct charge relating to his half-time dismissal by referee Jonathan Moss at West Ham.

Mourinho expects his appeal against a £50,000 fine and suspended one-match stadium ban for comments made about referee Robert Madley following the October 3 loss to Southampton to be heard on Friday.

Chelsea are currently lying 15th position in the league table after ten league matches played. Won 3, draw 2 and lost 5, the worst title defence since  Premier league began.

The self acclaimed Special One seems to be losing his ego in his pre-match press conference. Jose Mourinho said he "cannot promise" that Chelsea will qualify for the Champions League next season.

He said: "Chelsea is a big club. It's the club that I choose to come to. It's a club I live in a very specific way every day.

"Liverpool is a big club, Manchester United is a super big club. Last season Liverpool win nothing and didn't qualify for the Champions League."

Chelsea fans will want to believe this ain't happening, as everything going on with Mourinho and his team seems to be in disarray.

Liverpool are handed a boost as striker Benteke returns from injury and James Milner from one match suspension, and also their league cup win against Burnamouth midweek.

Jose Mourinho has been refused to be drawn into pressure by stating; "I am not worried about my job. I am not worried about my future," Mourinho said ahead of Saturday's visit of Liverpool.

"I don't spend one second of my day thinking about it."

It would be interesting to see weather or not the Roman Soldier "Abramovich" will sheath his sword if Chelsea lose against Liverpool today.

Meanwhile Diego Costa who was substituted after sustaining a rib injury in League Cup  match against Stoke City remains a doubt for today's match.
