Just a reminder before the year winds down. There had been so many promises from Ayade. The
following are the ones I can remember.

※ The garment factory will be completed in two weeks. All equipments for the factory have been bought and delivered.

Note: Its been 7 months and still counting. The garment factory, one of the vibrant and easily achievable of the Signature Projects is still less than 20% complete.

※ "The money for the construction of the Superhighway is ready".
In 6 months, all engineers in CRS will be massively employed. The
superhighway will produce over 2000 jobs for CrossRiverians.

Note: No clear cut vision as to the finances available so far for the construction of the superhighway. Contract awards on the
superhighway is shrouded in secrecy. Manpower mobilization to site is contracted to haggard looking smokers from Germany sleeping and waking up in
Ayade Hilton Hotel in Obudu.

※ "Calabar will be the cleanest city in Nigeria. Waste evacuation and recycling will be my major priority. As an environmentalist, I will mobilize my skills for green energy".

Note: Calabar became the most dirty city after Aba. Attempts to keep the city clean was only
demonstrated recently when it became necessary because Ayade will receive visitors for the Carnival.
Major Carnival routes were kept clean. Other streets are still dirty and smelling. The green energy
Ayade said he will develop turned out to be quite the opposite as he was quoted by international news
agencies in COP21 in Paris that "Africa is not ready for green and cleaner energy but will rather utilize
hydrocarbons."

※ Ayade promise to activate and commission the monorail on the 20th of December as a boost to the
Carnival suffered yet another problem of lack of evaluation and insincerity.

Note: The monorail commissioning was postponed to 22nd and yet nothing was done on that day. It
was later said or rumored that it will be commissioned on the 30th of December, but till now, nothing like that was done.

※ "I will create 1 thousand jobs every month".

Note: Only political appointment jobs are created.

Even though it has been rumored that Ayade lifted a 30 years embargo on job creation in CRS, nothing has been heard about jobs in the civil service other than appointment.

The Green Police and Garment
Factory Widows was a political stunt for polarity. Till date, no one has been announced as a worker in
the green police or the garment factory.

※ “No one will go to bed sick or go without medical aid”. It is sad that I have written a letter to Ayade
seeking for assistance for Pius Ileti. Pius is a young man from Obudu who has liver problem. Pius has
been under my care and I spend 47 thousand naira a week. Lot of voluntary donors can no longer
donate because of the economic crunch. Ayade has not responded to my letter of assistance for Pius
whom I have never met. Neither has any of his media team member responded apart from Emmanuel Ulayi and Betta Edu. Betta is presently the SA on Primary and Community Healthcare. Pius
Ileti is from Obudu. He is not sure how long he will live on earth the moment I cease my contributions.

※ Ayade appointment has been more of family connections.

Note: Latest investigation into Ayade appointment suggested that the following are relations from the
same house:
Bony ishamali: SA on Petroleum to the governor.
Isaac Ishamali: Chairman ICT.
John Ishamali: Aide to Obudu LGA Chairman.
Martina Ishamali: Aide to the Governor.
Gregory Ishamali: also aide to the Governor.
All these guys are somehow related to Frank Ayade
who is now the de-facto governor.

Note: The Governor's relationship to the Ishamalis is through Dr. Frank Ayade by marriage. Frank's
wife is an Ishamali. Dr. Peter Adigeb who has just been appointed Chairman, LG Service Commission
is married to Isaac Ishamali's wife sister. They are both daughters of the late Peter Ushie.

※ Ayade had promised that little children will work around Calabar with 1500 trees as part of the
Carnival tagged "the green and climate change Carnival". In fact, Ayade banned the children
Carnival to the chagrin of CRS children. Yet no child came out with a tree.

Note: Ayade tried to bring his environmental sense not science into the Carnival. He had some Carnival float revelers called "Deforestation". For me, they
should have been "stop deforestation". Another group was called "Climate Change" other than "stop climate change". The last group was "Mitigation". The question is "mitigation" of what?
The Carnival however, turned out to be the most rowdy Carnival of all time.
