Come Saturday 12 March 2016, it has been reliably gleaned that the University of Calabar, Calabar will be holding her 29th Convocation Ceremony.
Meanwhile, the University of Calabar Senate has approved that an erstwhile governor of Cross River State, Mr. Donald Duke, as well as Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, and the incumbent Senate President of Nigeria's 8th Senate, Bukola Saraki, be recipient of an honorary award billed to be presented on the same day. This information, according to Campus Watch, was confirmed by the Registrar of the educational institution, Mr. Moses Abang.
Also, as at press time, the category of award to which the above mentioned anticipated recipients will be presented with has not been stated.
