In a bid to savage our dear country Nigeria from  her Socioeconomic leprosy, President Muhammadu Buhari together with his Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun  journeyed for greener pastures and did turn-in to the oil rich country of Qatar to obtain a mutual economic advantage.

This action is in line with the popular adage  " If you scratch my back, I will scratch yours too" .

However, to achieve this feat, President Buhari had to step aside as indicated in the picture above, so that the two most important individuals occupying the Throne of wealth (Finance) in the respective nations would do what they know how to do best.. which is  to engage in the signing of the treaty.

To further consummate this treaty, and for it to go down well, compromises had to be made especially on the part of Nigeria's Minister for Finance, Kemi Adeosun who had to  cover her hair as she signed the bilateral agreement with Qatar's Minister of Finance, Ali Shareef Al Emadi, dated this 28th of  February 2016.

Such ritual of covering the hair is what depicts harmony of purpose which mattered less especially in times when one wants to meet an interest. In this case, a bilateral friendship in economic matters.

It should however be noted that the purpose for the bilateral agreement was the avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes…

Behind both Ministers are the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hammad Al-Thani and Muhammad Buhari.
