The seat of Pride and Glory is getting hot for the interim Real Madrid manager Zinedene Zidane as he watches his side lost to bitter rivals Atletico Madrid in the Madrid derby at the Bernabue.

A 53rd minute goal from converted striker Antonio Griezman was enough to steal the show for Atletico as they recorded a well deserved away win. The Frenchman struck in the 53rd minute to inflict a fourth league derby defeat in six games on the Merengues, who have not managed to beat their local rivals in the Primera Division since 2013.

The Los Blancos detests the idea of losing in front of their home fans due to the prestigious nature of the club's history. This alone coud keep Zidane sweating in his pants, knowing too well the Madrid board doesn't take excuse for losing.

Real Madrid dropped their first points against Atletico Bilbao under Zidane who was promoted from B team coach when Benítez was abruptly fired last month. The pressure no doubt is beginning to be pilling up especially losing at home which cost Raphael Benitez his job barely eight months after been appointed as Madrid's Manager.

This is Zidane's first lost since taken over from Rapheal Benitez last month. Real Madrid in their shadows would have thrown away the towel to the title, sitting third position with 54 points, adrift of reigning champions and league leaders Barcelona with 9 points lead.
