In an attempt to share a 27th April 2016's publication by this media house titled: VENA IKEM VS AYADE: 'Forgive my sins…I am only human' —Ikem http://www.negroidhaven.org/2016/04/vena-ikem-vs-ayade-forgive-my-sinsi-am.html, one Obudu-born Cross Riverian with the Facebook name, Spokesman Agogo, who is allegedly the Security Adviser to the Executive Chairman of Obudu LGA in Cross River State, highlighted the phrase:
'Venatius Ikem begs for forgiveness'. This incited a brouhaha between Spokesman Agogo and Barr. Venatius Ikem.

Vena didn't fail to retort against this perceived misrepresentation/misinterpretation as he quipped: 'It is unfortunate that you didn't learn English properly, whoever interpreted my write up as an apology to whoever. I stand by my write up for what it is, not what anyone chooses to label it'. Agogo replied with, '@ Venatius Ikem I didn't expect less hmmmmm blowing hot and cold as usual its been a long time', while Vena observed thus, 'If u understood English u will understand what blowing hot and cold means. As it is I don't blame you'.
