In a press release of 28 September 2016 the Cross River Leadership Academy has articulated its mind over the recent crisis bedeviling the leadership of National Association of Cross River State Students Worldwide (NACRISS WW). In summary, the Academy has made two prayers: that the presidency of Comrade Caleb Obaji be validated and recognised; and that the Special Assistant on Students Affairs and Youth Mobilization to the Governor of Cross River State, Mr Michael Abuo, be shunned for his meddlesomeness in NACRISS WW activities.
For the records, the Academy is a composition of past elected union Leaders of proven integrity from Cross River State extraction in all higher institutions of learning within home & abroad. This consists of Past NACRISS WORLDWIDE Presidents, NACRISS Chapter Presidents, Students Union Presidents & LGA president.
The Academy came into existence in 2002 with Leaders like Dormclemz Enamhe, Barr. Joe Edet, Rt. Hon. Bassy Ewa, Mr. Emma Anoh 2 mention but a few as initiators.
