the Sydney Construction Company Limited, like its consultant Sino Infrastructure Development Co Limited is a fictitious company. The company does not have any experience for the construction of roads. No certificate of competence. No overlay of previous construction jobs that they have done. There is none at the CAC. The three Directors of the company share a 4 bedroom bungalow apartment at 4C Olugun Agbaje Street, Victoria Island. In fact, the rent on the property has not be paid for over 6 Months now.

About a forthnight ago, Cross River State Governor, Prof. Ben Ayade flagged off the construction work on a 133.7 kilometers Mfom-Okpoma-Imaje-Bekwarra-Obudu-Obanliku dual carriage road.

The construction of the federal road which will traverse the five local government areas, namely Bekwarra, Yala, Ogoja, Obudu and Obanliku LGAs that constitute the Northern Senatorial District of the state is valued at N31 billion and it is expected to be completed in 30 months.

Messer Sydney Construction was chosen by the state executive council in October 2016 as the actual construction firm. However, it's consultant construction company is Sinos Infrastructure Company Ltd. Findings about Sinos Infrastructure Company Ltd has it that the said construction company, to which the government of Cross River State contracted as a consultant to Sydney Construction is barely a year old with no experience at construction. No pre-qualification assessment was carried out on the companies by the state government, and there is no certificate of competence. The said limited liability company has only 10 million units of shares and is owned by a Chinese and Nigeria. Their particulars are thus:
*a. Name: Mr. Li Yanping
Address: 7, Anthony Ukpo Crescent, Nass Quarters, Zone A, Apo, Abuja
Nationality: Chinese
Shares Allotted: 5,000,000 (Five Million)

b. Name: Mr. Mpakaboari Patrick  George
Address: Close 5, Block 4B, Elekahia Housing Estate, Rivers State
Shares Allotted: 5,000,000 (Five Million)

In the part 4 of his series Governor Ben Ayade And His 419 Companies…., Yakurr-born foremost critic, Ifere Paul, has made startling revelations as to the character of the actual construction firm to which N31 billion was given to fix the Mfom-Yala-Bekwarra-Obanlikwu-Obudu ranch road. Mr Paul discovered that this construction firm is only visionary, it does not exist in real time and space. Without any experience for the construction of roads. Neither certificate of competence nor overlay of previous construction jobs that they have done. Excerpt of what he said:

Sydney Construction Limited.

'Following the revelation that trailed one of the companies awarded a 31.7 Billion Naira construction of Mfom-Bekwara-Obudu Ranch Road contract, Mr Tony Undiandeye made postulations that Sino Infrastructure Company Limited is only a consultant to the company that the contract was actually awarded to. In this case, the company is Sydney Construction Limited.

'In our previous exposition, we made a case that the Sino Infrastructure Company Limited was own by a Chinese. It is sad however to discover that Sydney Construction Company Limited is also owned by Lebanese.

'Governor Ben Ayade has during the campaigns made promises that he would return the State economy to the hand of local entrepreneurs. He made so much case for local content. But for 1 year and 6 months now, Governor Ben Ayade has not empowered any local company. Governor Ayade is always flagged by foreigners. If they are not Chinese, the are Thai. If the are not Thai, they are Lebanese. If they are not Lebanese, they are Irish, or Canadians. But never Africans or Nigerians.

'However, the Sydney Construction Company Limited, like it consultant Sino Infrastructure Development Co Limited is a fictitious company.

'When my private investigators visited the premises, they were not allowed to go inside. But were able to gather that the two Lebanese: Serge El Fady and his cousin Raymond El Khoury, their friend Chidiac Ramia are front men for various companies in Nigeria.

'The company was incorporated on the 17th of March, 2016. The company will by November 17th be 8 Months old.

'A company that is only 8 Month old and without office operation address is awarded a 31.7 Billion Naira contract. So much talk for the Director General of Due Process, Mr Alphonsus Ogar Eba. Where was he when this companies were awarded these contracts?

'On my way to EFCC. Find below the summary of Sydney Construction Co Limited.
