N552 MILLION BRIBERY: Joe Agi fingered in corruption scandal, Wither 9th December

Reliable reports reaching NegroidHaven has it that Yala, Cross River-born Mr Joe Agi SAN has been fingered in a N552 million bribery scandal.

It will be recalled that on 8 October 2016 the Department of State Service (DSS) embarked on a clamp down on supposedly corrupt judges in the federation. In the said anti-corruption crusade, one Adeniyi Ademola, a Federal High Court judge arrested five weeks ago was affected with his wife, Olabowale. The allegedly corrupt judge has been charged by the Nigerian government for bribery and racketeering to the tune N552 million.

Ademola particularly received the sum of N60 million from Agi. PT best captured when it stated that, 'According to the affidavit, Mr. Ademola allegedly received N30 million from Messrs Joe Agi Associates between March 11 and 26, 2015. His wife also allegedly received N30 million from the same firm'.
