A popular Calabar-based Christian preacher, Pst. Joseph I. Okoro, who is the General Overseer of Bible Christian Crusaders Mission (BCCM) and convener of the annual three weeks long strategic prayer and word conference, Festival of Fire, has mourned the recent passing away to glory of his long and staunch church member, Mr Godswill Uduma.

It will be recalled that late Uduma who kicked the bucket on Friday 28 October after a very brief illness was the individual who was miraculously rescued during the July 2016 notorious raid by kidnappers in Cross River State capital, Calabar an incident that was reported by the BBC.

Pst. Okoro while mourning this son-in-the-Lord described late Uduma who, until his death was a prominent member of the church's ushering team, as 'incomparable and irreplaceable' on his social media account on the 2 of November. Excerpt:

'My own Boy. Why? Why did you leave so soon. One in a million of a Son. You have caused the Lion to shed tears. I miss you so much Son. To me, you will always be incomparable and Irreplaceable. Adieu my Boy'.

It must be emphasised that the mortal exit of late Uduma has profoundly rocked the BCCM family globally. For instance, a former Cross River Most Beautiful Girl, Victoria Anna, while consoling Pst Okoro said: 'Daddy May God give you the fortitude to bear this great loss.  He will be sorely missed…..but God will comfort us'. One James Ekabua's consolation reads in part, 'May He grant grace to bear this irreparable demise'. One Gloria Victor has said, 'It's unfortunate that good people don't last, accept my heartfelt condolences sir as I pray that the lord alone console you and his dear family and the church'. Stanley Oseuno consoled thus: 'Daddy, it's well   yes it is painful but God has also blessed you with several other children including us in Benin city Nigeria. May the soul of our brother rest in peace in Jesus name Amen'. Patience Etim's consolatory words goes like this: 'Chai life is so unfair, why do good pple die? It's so painful to loss a loved one….but we can't question our creator.may his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen'. Kate Enebiene notes that, 'It is unbelievable and painful, but we pray for grace to bear this great loss. Daddy God will replace him in Jesus name, accept my heart felt condolence'. One Kalu Chijioke Ume eulogised late Uduma in the following words, 'in his voice…boy dash me this shirt nah…I will smile and reply bro it won't size….don't worry i will shape it to my size. He will always reshuffle me and my wife ….boy always stand behind ur wife. miss u broo'. Prince Gbenga Martins consoled thus: 'My heart goes out with you Dad for this great irreparable loss of a Gem. I am still finding it extremely difficult to come to terms with the fact that Brother Uduma had actually gone to be with The Lord. Sleep Well UDUMA!! #Withheavyheart.'.
The daughter of the deceased, Chinyere Uduma, said: 'He is with Jesus now, thank you everyone, let's all make sure we make heaven, that's all that matters now'.

Words were or are not enough to console Pst Okoro or the deceased family over the demise of late Uduma! Albeit, may this gallant Christian rest in peace.
