Former member representing Biase at the Cross River House of Assembly, Hon. Ngim Okpo says the People Democratic Party (PDP) in Cross River State is now as good as dead; and there was now a mass exodus into the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state.

Okpo, who spoke with our correspondent at his hometown, Biakpan of Biase Local Government Area of Cross River served in the state house of assembly in the immediate past administration under the aegis of APC before he was ousted during his bid to seek re-election.

In the former lawmaker’s words: “PDP is as good as dead, the people of Cross River State, we will make our choice appropriately.”

“There’s mass exodus into APC and I believe that this is the era where our people need governance the most and I think that the solution is in the APC,” Okpo added.

Also adding that: “The people of Cross River State need more, the impact of governance and speaking frankly, I believe that some of the expectations of Cross River have not been met.”
