Honourable Member to foot Transportation bill of students-constituent

The Honourable Member representing Ogoja State Constituency at the 8th Cross River State House of Assembly, Mr Peter Odey, has indicated his intention to pay the transportation fair for students who are members of his immediate constituency to return back to their various campuses NegroidHaven can authoritatively inform.

The legislator made this known recently while addressing the leadership of the student body who visited his resident during the yuletide. The Honourable Member reminded them that he was once a duly elected and sworn in president of their association. According to him, he has worn the shoes and he knows where it pinches.

In his exact words, 'Since, I came into office it has been my burden to reach out to the student folks to the best of my ability because that is my immediate constituency; this time last year we had to squeeze ourselves to pay bursary, we which we can do more but we are very incapacitated, let me a properly to those of you in tertiary institutions to allow us reach out to your younger once in secondary school,

'God willing we shall pay WAEC fee for all secondary school students in Ogoja, I still do understand that times are hard I will make adequate preparations for your transport fair back to your various campuses, drop your data with your president and let him get back to me.

Speaking immediately after Hon Odey the president of the association Comr Obeh Austin O.  applauded Hon Odey for his show of love and immediately appointed coordinators to help facilitate the process of data collection.
