Credible information has it that an accident had recently occurred along Lagos -Ibadan express way which involves a collision of a black SUV with a Trailer.
NHB gathered that the incident happened just a stone throw before Conoil just after an inter-cession to Shagamu.
A family of four passengers in the SUV, lost two on the spot while the other two were rushed to the hospital in an unconsciousness state.
As at press time no one has ascertained the cause of the fatal accident.
However the Police and Road Safety officials have converged the scene of the accident to aide traffic while attempting to contain the situation.
It is inferred from the littered luggage that the victims must have left their hometown and were returning home to Lagos before the worse happened.
This is perhaps the first known accident recorded this new year at the popular Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
