THE APC WELCOMES SENATOR NELSON EFFIONG INTO OUR FOLD.
The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Akwa Ibom State gladly welcomes the distinguished Senator Nelson Effiong, who is now representing Akwa Ibom South in the Nigerian Senate, to the All Progressives Congress, following his defection from the crises ridden and rudderless Peoples' Democratic Party, PDP, on the floor of the Nigerian Senate.
We salute his courage to jettison the sinking ship that is the PDP and join our progressive political platform that is irrevocably committed to salvaging our country from the economic, moral and social woes brought on her by the past ruinous governments of the Peoples' Democratic Party, PDP.
To a large degree, we are measurably enthused that Senator Effiong has joined a long list of well meaning Nigerians who are daily finding their way into our great party. The obvious reason for this migration of patriotic Nigerians into our party is due to the determined sincerity of President Mohammadu Buhari to redeem our country from endemic corruption and put our people and country back on the path of total economic regeneration.
For us in the APC family in Akwa Ibom State, we are reasonably gratified that more and more people are becoming aware of the hollowness and abysmally incompetent administration that was foisted upon the State by a parasitic and ravenous cabal whose only interest is the maintenance of a family hegemony that lives fat on our collective patrimony.
We urge other well meaning patriots from the state, who are still sitting on the fence in the PDP, to take the critical decision and join hands with the Akwa Ibom progressives to bring to an ignoble end the present regime of waste, ineptitude, glaring deceit, nepotism and crass opportunism in Akwa Ibom state come 2019.
