Controversy keeps surrounding Thibuat Courtios ever since he arrived Stamford Bridge back from his loan move to Atletico Madrid which he spent three seasons at the Spanish capital.

He arrived Chelsea two years ago from his loan spell in the conditional basis of been no.1 rather than a back up to Peter Cech. He finally got what he deserved and dislodge Peter Cech as Chelsea's no.1 goalie.

The 24 year old Belgian International has been phenomenal for the Blues ever since his arrival ,as he led the Blues to their to the Premier League title which Mourinho was in charge at the helms of affairs. But was heavily criticised last season for his poor form and performances, not just him alone but the whole team as awhole.

Courtios has been unstable for the Blues as he heart still fancies move back to Madrid. His Wife and child are in the Spanish capital Madrid, and its reportedly preparing to enrol his child at a school in Madrid. He has refused to commit himself to the Blues time and time again, and has clearly stated last season one day he wishes to head back to Madrid.

His current five year contract ends 2019 and has refused to extend his deal with Chelsea. Real Madrid has been monitoring the situation and they fancy the Belgian as been a viable long term solution in between the sticks at the Bernabue.  Despite Keylor Navas outstanding performance for the Spanish giants this season, which he led the club to 40 match unbeaten run that was ended last week by Sevilla. Real Madrid still feels Courtios will be best suitable at the Bernabue.

Real Madrid have reportdly offered £25.9m to lure the Belgian away from Stamford Bridge, and the deal will not involve Alvaro Morata whom Antonio Conte sees as a long term replacement for unstable Diego Costa whom his heart is set on a move to China next summer.
