Ikom, Cross River-born development economist, social entrepreneur, World Bank consultant and social commentator, Mr Princewill Odidi has stated that the incoming 45th President of the United States of America, Mr Donald Trump may be God's retributive measure upon the 'sins' of Americans, NegroidHaven can authoritatively inform.

Odidi who cited five scriptural passages as a way of trumping support for his argument further noted that it's inexplicable how Trump emerged President of America despite flouting everything American. He also noted that when Americans resorted to what he referred to as 'Sodom and Gomorrah' probably referring to the Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgender culture the Spirit of God took leave allowing the advent of a 'wicked king' in America.

Odidi who made his position known about three days ago via his Facebook page declared in no uncertain terms —'The day of God's judgement is here'.

Excerpt:

'Donald Trump maybe Gods punishment for the Sins of America. If not it is difficult to explain how a man who everything, every value considered American He flouted could still emerge President.

'When America turned to Sodom and Gomorrah and condemned prayer in public schools, in my judgement, the Spirit of the Lord left and the people knew not. And as in the days of the Prophets, God allowed a wicked King to arise in Israel, same with America.

'What does the Bible say? Yet, we need not labor to prove that a wicked king is the Lord’s wrath upon the earth [Job 34:30, Vg.; Hos. 13:11; Isa. 3:4; 10:5; Deut. 28:29], for I believe no man will contradict me; and thus nothing more would be said of a king than of a robber who seizes your possessions, of an adulterer who pollutes your marriage bed, or of a murderer who seeks to kill you.

'For Scripture reckons all such calamities among God’s curses. But let us, rather, pause here to prove this, if God did not approve this day would never come. The day of God's judgement is here.'

If this disturbing assertions are anything to go by does this imply that this Odidian divine retribution will have ramifications on America's economy and politics? Will America fail to be 'great again' in a Trump administration?
