Today Friday 10th and Sunday 12th have been strictly marked out by Governor Mohammed Jibrilla of Adamawa State to pray for the quick recovery and sound health condition of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Governor who made this announcement while taking a closing remark at the state's weekly executive council, asserts that it is a sign of patriotism to pray for our leaders in authority.

For him, intercessory prayers are required for anyone in authority irrespective of his or her health status, hence there is a clarion call to all Religious Organizations- Churches and Mosque to hold special prayer sessions for the recuperation of our President.

In his words:

“President Muhammadu Buhari needs the prayers of all Nigerians to enable him pilot the affairs of the country effectively. This, we have been doing even before he travelled for his vacation and we will not relent.

“As the Governor of Adamawa State, I deserve special prayers from my people to enable me accomplish the dreams of governing the state well.”

He reaffirmed the commitment of his government towards providing the dividends of democracy to the people, while alluding to the fact that in achieving the foregoing, there is a need to lay focus on the health and education sectors of the economy.

Reaction:

Do you think the Gov. Jibrilla deserves kudos for such announcement?

Will prayers Solve the Hydra- Problematics  of our dear country Nigeria?

Does Buhari need prayers of Intercession or 'Interception?'

Tell us your take.
