Information reaching our news desk from a credible source avers that the trio of Actor Dr. Kenneth Okonkwo, Ex- football Star Amb.John Fashanu, in inclusion of popular media personality Rachel Becham were on Friday, inducted as Anti-Human Trafficking Ambassadors.
NHB garnered that after the induction, they were were duely awarded certificates of affirmation by the NAPTIP (National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons), Ass.Director of Intelligence, Daniel Atokolo.
According to Mr Atokolo, their new role as Anti-Human Trafficking Agents & Ambassadors, would involve a meeting of minds towards the furtherance of the Agency and more importantly, a proactive fight against such moral decadence as the evils of Human trafficking in Nigeria and other neighboring African Countries.
The award and induction was catalyzed as a recognition for their respective contributions towards the betterment of Humankind in their respective fields of endeavour.
We felicitate with them as we also hope that they would exert their duties well as we are reminded of the fact that 'To whom much is given.. Is much also required!'
