Unconfirmed reports reaching our correspondent has it that two  communities in Obubra LGA, namely, Ababene and Iyamitete are currently engaged in belligerent activities of fatal dimensions NegroidHaven can say.

A tip off from an indigene of Ababene, who informed that two lives have already gone, explains that the communal crisis began in the morning of Sunday today as the warring clans are presently in the process of laying to rest remains of their respective clan heads —late Chief Ovarr Afru from Ababene and Chief Ovarr Irum from Iyamitete.

My source further said that the tradition of the two communities is such that requires fresh human skulls for ritual purposes, as requirements, to commit the dead remains to mother Earth. Since these traditional rulers died about the same time the two communities are searching for fresh human skulls concurrently.

Again, Arobom a village in Ababene community has been burned down by Iyamitete people.

I am calling on relevant security outfits to wade into the matter.
