Boki, Cross River-born acclaimed social commentator, legal luminary and university teacher, Joseph Odok, has tendered an apology to the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Calabar(UNICAL), Professor Zana I. Akpagu, over what he referred to as 'misinformation' NegroidHaven can say.

Odok who noted that his previous comments were borne out of personal conviction apologised for misinforming the public via his post on the subject of alleged non-inclusiveness of certain persons in the 30th convocation of the University of Calabar held last week end. He however encouraged the authority of the University to consult widely on similar occasions.

His words, 'I apologize were there was any misinformation but urge the university management team to expand in consultations and inclusion of all relevant  people in subsequent convocation exercise : especially people that have the capacity to make useful impact in the university'.

Earlier, the social commentator appreciated the humble response of Akpagu who personally offered via his social media account an exhaustive insight into how university convocation exercises are conducted which Odok was glaringly ignorant of despite being a staff of the University.

Odok while appreciating Akpagu's mentorship acknowledged his ignorance in this regard, 'I appreciate your mentorship. Time and experience will teach how to approach issues in a more matured way. Thanks for your clarifications and understanding'.
