A Nigerian lady has succeeded in cajoling hundreds of her fans on social media into believing that today, April Fool’s Day, is her birthday. Accordingly, she has elicited almost two hundred birthday wishes and it’s still counting.
As at press time, Ogah Ruth Ofie, a pronounced sexual chastity advocate, has had over 219 ‘likes’ on Facebook and 189 birthday wishes.
Individuals of all sexes, age, etc are unsuspecting of Ruth’s antics despite the fact that Facebook hasn’t notified them of her birthday being today.
According to Wikipedia, ‘April Fools’ Day (sometimes called All Fools’ Day) is celebrated every year on April 1 by playing practical jokes and spreading hoaxes. The jokes and their victims are called April fools. People playing April Fool jokes expose their prank by shouting April Fool

‘Some newspapers, magazines, and other published media report fake stories, which are usually explained the next day or below the news section in small letters. Although popular since the 19th century, the day is not a public holiday in any country’.
Even when Ruth is telling her fans on a separate thread that it’s not her birthday, the wishes are pouring in profusely. Quite funny. Lol

Hmm! Ruth, you try sha. Happy April Fools Day!
