Nigeria's pro- and probably only youthful political party —The Young Democratic Party (YDP), Cross River chapter has acquired a befitting party secretariat for her official activities.
The structure is proudly located at #78 Ndidem Usang Iso Road, Marian, opposite Federal Pay Office.
The state chair of the party, Mr Castro Ezama, particularly noted that the bill for its rentage were footed solely by youths. This calls to mind the law of Karma that says —'Life does not happen by itself, we need to make it happen'. On his part, the Leader of the party in the state has observed that Cross River and Nigeria now has an alternative political party to express political inclination.
According to Mr Ezama, '… I was amazed at the selfless contributions of our youths in making this a reality.' Mr Bissong said, 'Let's meet there to discuss the future of Cross River State and Nigeria. You now have a credible alternative to ventilate your political ambition. For Mr Paul Eteng, Cross River Central Senatorial District chapter chair, 'If your a youth this party is for you'.
If without any form of support these youths have acquired this structure it seems to me that Nigerian youths are beginning to take responsibility for their lives!
