In a 5th May dated letter titled 'Medical Follow-up', signed by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and addressed to the President of the Senate, President Muhammadu Buhari has informed the Red Chamber that he will be leaving to London for medical check up indefinitely and in accordance with section 145(1) of  the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as Amended is bequeathing powers to the Vice President to 'coordinate the activities of the Government'.
This has sparked controversy —why 'coordinate' and not 'act as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria' while you are away indefinitely at London hospital?
