The Niger Delta Association of Online Media Practitioners of Nigeria (NAOMPON) has heartily congratulated Comrade Efio-Ita Nyok and Comrade Iwara Iwara, publishers of Negroidhaven.org and Calitown.com, respectively on awards bestowed on them by prestigious Profiles and Biographies Awards.
Comrade Nyok, among 50 Future Leaders, was awarded ‘Young People to Watch’ while Calitown.com was awarded prestigious Legacy Award for strategic contributions to the development of Cross River State and the nation at large,” at a well enlarged forum on Thursday at the Transcorp Hotel in Calabar.
A statement signed by Comrade Obaji Abung-Akpet, acting chairman of NAOMPON said “For this awards to come at this auspicious time when our dear state ‘Cross River’ is being recompensed at its 50 years of creation makes it epoch and auspicious.”
“Both Negroidhaven.org and Calitown.com are gallant in what they do to help in the development of our great state; and so merit, in all respects these awards bestowed on them, even as we continue to wish them more lofty heights attain.”
“This awards indicates that efforts at all levels in the development of the state are well acknowledged and appreciated.”
“We commend the organisers of this history making event to continue to encourage teaming Cross Riverians in their efforts for the state while we sue for future collaborations,” Akpet said.
