The Chairman of the Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), and former Senate Leader of the 7th Senate who represented Cross River State Central Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, has welcomed the news of the defection of the current Senator representing Cross River Central Senatorial district, Senator John Owan-Enoh to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ndoma-Egba in a statement said;
"I welcome a brother to the fold of progressives who are determined to make change, the type that will impact future generations positively. We welcome him and others as there is the urgent need to mainstream Cross River State and indeed the South South Region.
My position has always been that a political party should be like a church; open to all".
