Special Adviser To Governor Ayade on inter Party Meets Bakassi PDP EXCO

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Inter-Party Affairs, Mr Austin Ibok has urged the Bakassi Chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to continue to keep faith with the Senator Ben Ayade's administration towards delivering democratic dividends to Cross Riverians.
The Special Adviser who stated this in Calabar during an extraordinary meeting with the leadership of the Party from the LGA said, under the present administration, every Cross Riverian will be carried along in any way possible.‎
He said the meeting became necessary in order to enable him familiarise with the Exco as well as chat the way forward for the party especially as it prepares for the forthcoming LG elections.
Mr Ibok said, his desire is to ensure that all organs and stakeholders of the party are brought under the umbrella in order to achieve a common good.
The Chapter Chairman of the Party Gerald Esin described the Special Adviser's gesture to call them for a meeting as timely as they was an urgent need for all Bakassi sons and daughters who are members of the PDP to begin to talk in one voice.
He used the occasion to appeal to the State Governor and leader of the Party in the State to increase the monthly subvention of the various Chapters of the party from 500,000 to 1,000,000 to enable them deliver on their assigned task.
Other speakers at the meeting lauded the Special Adviser's effort in uniting the party noting that the meeting is the first of its kind since the Exco came on board.
