ATTENTION: THE SENATOR REPRESENTING CROSS RIVER STATE NORTHERN SENATORIAL CONSTITUENCY; SEN.(DR.) MRS. ROSE OKO: A CALL FOR THE INVESTIGATION AND BRINGING TO BOOK THE ALLEGED MURDERER AND ACCOMPLICES (ALHAJI USMAN ADAMU; NDEM  RAPHAEL, MICHAEL OBIORA…) OF LATE MISS JOY ADAMA.
Madam, it is a trite that the office of a senator representing any constituency in the nation and in other climes is a much esteemed office which attracts incredible regard and veneration.
By my characteristic tradition and learning, I have respect for constituted authority such as the office of a senator. And as such, I had thought of avoiding relaying an open letter of this magnitude to you via this medium. But all concerted efforts to secure an audience with you were short-circuited by your distinguished-self and premeditated attitude of not answering calls or replying text messages.
However, I would not with intent claim ignorant of the acknowledged fact that your esteemed office has been engulfed and inundated with numerous complaints from all and sundry from your constituency over your abysmal performance at the red chamber of the National Assembly. Though, some folks have had to attributes it to your failing health. Please accept my sympathy. Well, if that be the cause, I pray God to grant you strong health.
My dearest senator, the crux of this epistolary is not to harp on the same string as others does on the arduous tasks of your office, but to respectfully call your attention to the seriousness of the subject matter on motion which is a crime against humanity and requires national attention and actions. Madam, you know better than I do that on the aforementioned, no sex or age is safe.
The facts are no longer in disagreement that you are now fully informed through hook or crook about the evil that befell one of those citizens whom you represents at the senate. Be it as it may, by way of information, I like to briefly, but succinctly tell you that late Miss Joy Odama was a native of Yala local government area. She was a 200 level undergraduate of Mass Communication at the Cross River State University of Technology, CRUTECH. She was beguiled, hypnotized and then murdered on the 18- 20th of December, 2016 by one charlatan— “charity donor”, Alhaji Usman Adamu.
The said philanthropist, Adamu is believed to living at Ibro Quarters— Old Karmo Abuja with mobile number: 08179606208. The Nigerian police are also mired in this mud of miry mess. One CSP Nkem Raphael and SP Michael Obiora of the Karmo Divisional Police Headquarters are some of the alleged accomplices. Also, the AIG Intelligence, Umaru Usman is not left out of this odious act.
My darling senator Ma, this letter is not intended to curry favour from you but rather to prompt you in taking up the cudgels of this matter with both hands.
Madam, just as this matter of Joy’s death was presented and deliberated upon at the floor of Cross River State House of Assembly by Hon. Regina Ayongo and the House itself, I desire you to pick up the gauntlet to discuss it at the floor of the senate and your junior colleagues at the Assembly too.
I am very sorry for being copious in my presentation. Nonetheless, kindly convene a meeting of Cross River State members at the National Assembly to converse this issue in solidarity with the family of Odama. You would at least concur with me that this is not an arduous task for you. Opportunity has afforded you in this incident to take positive action in championing this agitation to prove to our people that whatever touches the eyes, equally affects the nose.
As you put yourself together to give voice to the voiceless Odama family, I wish you do it with vigor as an injury to yourself. Verbum sapienti:  a word is enough for the wise.
Copy of this letter is being sent to your colleagues for their perusal.
For you precious time spent in perusing this request, I extend to you the assurances of my deepest regards and God bless you.
Yours faithfully,
Comr. Ogar, Emmanuel Oko
Young Democratic Party, YDP Cross River State chapter secretary.
