Princewill Odidi, a diaspora Nigerian based in Atlanta, United States has captured the strength and weakness of Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOD) interestingly in a single sentence that constituted his yesternight social media thread NegroidHaven has learnt.

His words, 'Nnamdi Kanu has gradually developed the type of charisma and followership capable of instigating a national revolution and overthrowing the government. His biggest mistake is that instead of mobilizing the poor and labor unions for the dictatorship of the proletariat over the hegemony of the brutish capitalist ruling class that has ran our country aground, he is rather playing the ethnic card that may end up with a civil war'.

According to the political pundit, Kanu's greatest undoing is —ETHNICITY. This is negating his charisma which has inspired a degree of followership that is capable of instigating a national revolution against the brutish hegemony.
Supposing Kanu's charisma is directed at Inspiring the masses and labour unions against the government, a revolution would have been birthed. However, for Odidi the ethnic colouration of his strength is likely to simmer into a civil war. Hmmm!
For me, I am adding religion (not spirituality) as another weakness. And religious studies scholars opine that religion and culture are delicately intertwined. Considering that 'Africans are notoriously religious' it suggests that any pill sold under that garb is more often than not swallowed uncritically. So, he starts selling hate via hate speech and his followers are not discerning enough!
Do you endorse Odidi's thinking or do you have reservations?
