Bebuo Bomaji a village in Boki LGA of Cross River has been cut off from the rest of other Boki communities as a result of heavy flood which caused a landslide that destroyed the sole bridge linking the people with the rest of other communities NegroidHaven can report.
Embattled social change agent, Joseph Odok Esq., Ph.D has observed recently that the wanton destruction is impeding movement and transportation. According to him, ‘The landslide destruction is so devastating that pedestrian movements is rendered an impossibility. Transportation of agricultural produce and variant economic activities are rendered impossible with a story of doom and helplessness defining the people’.

In a telephone conversation with Hon Cletus Obun, the leading political leader of the area called for a quick intervention of NDDC and the APC-led government to salvage the flood that destroyed the only existing bridge making pedestrian and economic activities impossible.
According to a statement credited to Cletus Obun, ‘Bumaji community has come under heavy disaster this road was bulldozed 27 years ago in October 1990 by Lt. Col. Kizito Attah. Successive governments have abandoned the road for purely partisan punitive political reasons’.
Obun called on the quick intervention of NEMA, SEMA, NDDC & other related agencies to come to their aid.
