The wife of the Executive Governor of Cross River State, Dr Linda Ayade, during the weekend, celebrated the pioneer Director General of Cross River State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr Betta Edu on the occasion of her birthday NegroidHaven can report.
At the height of the Gala Night in honour of the Southern Governors Wives Forum, when every woman was on the dance floor moving to sweet music from the vintage band, the Wife of the Governor of Cross River State, Her Excellency, Dr Linda Ayade took the microphone and said, 'band can you excuse me for a minute? I want to do something special…'
The dance floor went calm as women were eager to know what that special thing was from the queen mother. Then she said, '… as we dance in celebration of a successful hosting of the southern Governors wives forum and women empowerment, I WANT TO SPECIALLY CELEBRATE MY OWN, ONE OF US, PLEASE DO ME A FAVOUR, LET'S SING HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONG FOR OUR STAR DR BETTA EDU AND JOIN ME CUT THE CAKE IN HER HONOUR'.
The breathless, obviously overwhelmed, well celebrated Director General of Cross River State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr Betta Edu, who added a year to her age yesterday had no option than to join others sing her own birthday song as tears rowed down her cheek.
Dr Ayade who eulogised the steadfastness and proactive nature of Dr Betta Edu who has transformed the face of primary healthcare in the State, noted that Dr Edu is a rare asset to the state health sector. She prayed for good health and God's divine protection upon her and urged her to continue discharging her services to the state.
The digital Governor Sen. Ayade also sent his Birthday wishes to his performing appointee.
The joyous DG was overwhelmed with the show of love and prayers from Her Excellency, Dr Linda Ayade as she promises to deliver more! 'I think the best way to describe the quintessential mother of Cross River state is wrapped in this sentence "My Woman, My Everything", I just love Dr Linda Ayade!!
The birthday cake was cut by Dr Edu and the first lady Dr Ayade supported by the Secretary to State Government Barr. Tina Agbor, commissioners and other prominent women in Cross River.
Recall that she had already received so many cakes and gifts from family, friends, radio and TV stations, staff, zenith bank, first Rhema solution, State Exco etc.
The internet basically shut down yesterday for Our Own Dr Betta!!!!!!!
