Invest In Constituency Projects, Akpagu Charges NASS Members

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof. Zana Akpagu has called on National Assembly (NASS) members to always invest in constituency programmes that are beneficial to the people who gave them their mandates.

Prof Akpagu gave the charge when he led some members of the Unical Almuni and staff for a post election breakfast with Unical alumna, Senator Uche Ekwunife in her country home at Awka, Anambra State.

The Vice Chancellor commended Senator Ekwunife for establishing the OGENE Radio 98.3 FM, a venture he said will not only provide employment for the people but also Inform, Educate and Entertain them.

He thanked  Senator Ekwunife for identifying with her Alma Mater and urged other almunus to emulate her.

Responding, Senator Uche Ekwunife thanked the VC for honouring the invitation and assured that she will do her best to always uphold the integrity of her alma mater.

She pledged her support for the development programmes of the VC who she described as a man of integrity and honour.
