The Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar (UNICAL), Calabar, Professor Zana Itiunbe Akpagu, Tuesday, announced the reappointment of Dr Uti Egbai of the Department of Philosophy as Director of Centre for General Studies of the same tertiary academic institution, NegroidHaven has garnered.
This appointment is to last for the next two years just as Egbai exhaust a first term.
The Centre is responsible for coordinating the teaching and assessment of NUC compulsory courses for all undergraduates in Nigerian Universities irrespective of educational bias.
NegroidHaven has learnt from grapevine that the UNICAL boss has effected a shake-up in his previous appointments two years into office. Details of this will emerge soon.
It's a truism that the reward for hard work is more responsibility! Congratulations Dr Egbai.
