President Muhammadu Buhari appointed 1464 Nigerians on Friday, 6 out of which are already dead, some, for as long as a year NegroidHaven has learnt. What follows are details of late Utov, Ugbaja, Okopozo, Dange, Umar, and Bunza.
1. Late Rev Christopher Utov who died in March 2017 was appointed into the Board of Nigeria Institute of Social and Economic Research.
2. Late Chief Donald Ugbaja is a Member of the Consumer Protection Council who died 29th December 2017 Chief Ugbaja, a former DIG of Police
3. Late Senator Francis Okopozo as the Chairman of Nigerian Press Council. He died in 2016.
4. Late Umar Dange, an APC leader in Sokoto State, was appointed as a board member of the Federal Medical Centre, Ebute-Metta.
5. Kabir Umar, a former Emir of Katagum in Bauchi State, who died on December 9, was on the board of the Federal Medical Centre, Azare, Bauchi.
6. Ahmed Bunza, died at Usman Danfodio University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto, and was buried May 22.
While some may make excuses for Buhari, it should still be recalled that the 'final bucks stop at his table'. I am afraid that this list of dead appointees will increase as we go.
