Hon Agom Jarigbe representing the Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency and Hon Peter Odey member representing Ogoja State Constituency in the 8th Cross River State House of Assembly (CRSHA) presented cash and gift items to their Constituents in the spirit of the yuletide in a joint stakeholders meeting of Ogoja/Yala LGAs NegroidHaven can report.
On his part, Hon Jarigbe made cash donations, gave clothing materials to women groups and two vehicles for chapter chairmen of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party in Ogoja and Yala LGA respectively.
Our correspondent further learnt that Hon Agom gave 1 million Naira to state executive members of the PDP, 2.4 million Naira for the 14 political wards of Ogoja/Yala LGA, 100,000 thousand Naira to chapter EXCO members of PDP in Ogoja and Yala LGA respectively, 40,000 Naira to each of the ward EXCO in Ogoja and Yala LGA, and 300,000 Naira for the youths.
Hon Agom thanked his people for the love they have shown him assuring them of his resolve to continue to reach out to them.
On the other hand, Hon Peter Odey who made cash donation totalling to 1.5M Naira thanked the people for their continuous support and prayers reminding them that he holds their mandate in trust and will continue to do his best for his people.
On his social media page, these were his words, ‘I had a wonderful Christmas experience with my people at home, we played a novelty Christmas football match and later visited Buturo Jim Odu the Clan head of Idum Mbube and Paramount Ruler Of Ogoja. It was an interesting experience and worthwhile’.

Hon Thomas Udam aka Timmy-Tom the Honourable Commissioner for Power expressed delight on the development and also made a cash donation of 500,000 Naira.
Constituents expressed their happiness at the benevolence. For instance, a former Attorney General of the Cross River state, Leo Aggrey said, ‘Congress Man Peter Odey is a Man with interests of his people at heart, hence his quest tailored on them. Great job Hon’. One Abang Ogon said, ‘What is happening in Ogoja right now is Epic and first of it kind, Representatives are giving back to their people, we have never had it this way before God bless Hon Jarigbe Agom and Hon Peter Odinga’. Prince Thomas Abi Jr said, ‘Hon Peter, has shown capacity. He has made us to know and understand that as a member of the State House of Assembly, you can touch lives. We have never had it this good. Warm regards Congressman for always speaking for the Ogoja People.’ Mark Idrah opined that Hon Odey is, ‘Leader with difference’.
