With the release of the time table for the conduct of congresses, conventions and primaries in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) across board, renowned lawyer and friend to Chief Okoi Obono-Obla, the SA to the President on Prosecution, Utum Eteng Esq has urged the former to indicate interest for the National Chairman of APC as Chief John Oyegun takes a bow.
For Eteng, Obla is coordinated, proactive and vibrant and thus deserving of the glorified office. He said this recently via his Facebook account. Hear him out :
'Following the President's boom shell on the planned now failed term elongation by the National APC EXCO is to passionately plead with Chief (Barr) Okoi Obono Obla that he shows interest to vie for the APC National Chairmanship in the about to be formed fresh APC National EXCO come June 2018 since the position by APC  zoning principle would still remain in the South South political zone. The APC from all intents and purposes today needs a young, vibrate political turk like Obla to spearhead a well coordinated, proactive and vibrant onslaught come 2019.
'Let me use this opportunity to repeat my public claim as publicly presented on AIT news headlines wherein I say with out equivocations, that the present APC National leadership of Chief Oyegun has out lived it usefulness. The APC
as a political party set to be confronted by the 2015 defeated PDP needs a fresh hand and leadership to still defeat the PDP Chief Oyegun of today can not give the required vibrant leadership, but OBLA has what it takes haven been there from the beginning of the writing of the APC.
'I am urging on Chief Obla to come boldly out to show interest pursuant to  the further exploration of his already acknowledged  very rich out-reach. One aspect of the Oyegun leadership is the lack of liver to resolve  conclusively one internal party conflict in any one state in Nigeria.'
BLOGTORIAL
I may not really doubt Eteng's opinion about Obla, my honest challenge is in this observation : it seems to me that  Obla hasn't showed this perceived characteristic —coordination, proactiveness and vibrancy in the Cross River chapter of the All Progressives Congress?
Could I be true or wrong?
