Mr Franky Ifop the publisher of a thriving online news repository, CalabarReporters, has dropped a bombshell concerning the birthday status of members of the Executive Council of Cross River state. For Ifop, only three Honourable Commissioners have birthdays out of the 28 including Comr Asu Okang, Dr Inyang Asibong and Mr Eric Anderson, who are Commissioners for Youth and Sports Development, Health and Tourism respectively NegroidHaven can say.
Ifop made this known Wednesday via his social media account while celebrating the birthday of Comr Okang the youthful Commissioner for Youths in Cross River. According to Ifop, ‘The only Commissioners in Cross River State that have birthdays are Asu Okang, Inyang Asibong and Eric Anderson’.
Perspectively, birthday celebration of public officers by the masses in Cross River is used as a template to measure the popularity, perceived capacity, general acceptability and effectiveness, etc of the latter. Could it be said that of all 28 appointees, these three are the more performing and/or more generally acceptable, popular Commissioners in Gov Ben Ayade’s administration? Is the judgement of the people an informed perspective or is it influenced by one or two sentiments?
I want to particularly pose this question to Ifop : is Mr Anderson actually performing? Or only is he only generally accepted by the people?

However, when NegroidHaven further made inquiries into what publisher Ifop meant by his submission, it was garnered that the birthdays of the trio of Okang, Inyang and Anderson are the only ones that go viral on Cross River cyberspace.
It seems virtual space is becoming the real space. Hmmm!
