Ochibe Boki have been at forefront in giving remedial peace to Boki since the eruption of Borum Palm estate crisis, the Ayade government has done nothing to quell the crisis that have been brewing since over one year. Some appointees of Ayade have groomed boys that have snowballed into two groups to protect their interest in the estate. Proceeds of the palm estate have been used to buy guns and the boys have become so powerful that they now respect no chief or elder.
At this point Ochibe Boki can do nothing. Recently Rtd. Gen Moses Obi began an open cry calling the quick intervention of Governor Ayade Benedict to quickly step in by calling on security heads to save the lives and properties of Boki people. I join my voice with that of Ochibe Boki to call the security apparatus in the state to step in to save lives.
Cross River State has lost too many lives because of the failure of Government to intervene timely to issues of security breaches. I make this call before the break down of law and order between Osokom people and Oku community.
Peace must reign!
