The Director General of Cross River State Primary Healthcare Development Agency,  Dr Betta Edu at the Palace of Ndidem of Qua has praised the Paramount Ruler of Calabar Municipality, His Royal Majesty, Ndidem (Dr.) Patrick Oquagbor on his massive  sensitisation and mobilisation of his subjects for the polio immunisation exercise, which will prevent ocurrence of the viral infection in the community.
Dr Betta Edu further gave advice at the Advocacy visit of the members to the Ndidem's palace on Thursday in Ikot Ansa, Calabar.
She said the aim of their visit was to inform the palace of  this year’s National Immunisation Plus Days and the upcoming Maternal Newborn and Child Health Week on the need to bring polio and maternal mortality to zero level in the state as well as the role expected of the traditional leaders.
“You are the eye of the Qua, we want you to sensitise your subjects on the need to go for vaccination to achieve the goal of protecting our children,” Edu said.
Responding, Ndidem of the Qua, His Majesty Ndidem (Dr.) Patrick Oquagbor emphasise on the need for the Agency to send in information  to churches for adequate sensitisation and awareness across all communities.
The Royal father promised to get across to his subjects to get immunised during the course of the week long exercise.

According  to her, Cross River State Governor Sen.
