Information made available to NegroidHaven suggests that the Executive Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade has been named Obol Ngbongha of Yakurr in the just concluded Ugep new yam festival this year, Leboku NegroidHaven can report.
The new Obol, His Excellency the Executive Governor has in turn ordered the employment of six hundred indigenes of Yakurr indigenisation including youths, widows, men, etc into the Ugep Urban Development Authority (UUDA).
The Obol Ngbongha of Yakurr(Prince of Light) who disclosed all this in Ugep Township Stadium has also promised to fix street lights in Ugep metropolis putting December 2018 as the timeline for its execution.
Since his inception into office as governor, this is the first time His Excellency will be attending Leboku festival in person, previous editions had him sending proxies.
