The Community Relations Officer for Boki II State Constituency, Hon. Erasmus Ekpang, has been presented with the award of honour for his valuable and outstanding contributions to the growth of Education in Cross River State.
The award was presented to him by the students of Faculty of Education, University of Calabar.
Receiving the award in his office in Calabar, Hon. Ekpang dedicated the award to Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State.
He has contributed immensely to the growth of the educational sector through financial support and text books materials to students, mentorship amongst others.
As a Community Relations Officer, Hon. Ekpang has been a leading initiator of peace in Boki 2. He has always been up and doing in ensuring that cases of violence, cultism and communal clashes are reduced to the bearest minimum.
In the last peaceful celebrated New Yam festival in Boki, Ekpang was at the forefront of ensuring that Boki indigenes and visitors alike had a peaceful cultural celebration.
