‘I make bold to dis-associate myself from the long list for very obvious reasons.
‘I don’t belong to PDP, APC, SDP or NGP.
I write and cover events for all political parties and as such should not be a member of any. I admire personalities and not political parties.

Okache said he is not loyal to any political party but given to covering the event of all political parties. His words, ‘As a law abiding citizen, I hereby used this platform to disassociate myself from the aforementioned published names by the party.

‘I hereby appealed to whosoever included my name in the list of APC New Media member to withdraw it with immediate effect or face the wrath of the law.’

According to him, ‘Let me express my shock at the publication of my name ‘ Victor Egba’ as a writer in the just innaugurated New Media Committee,  By the state Party Chairman,  Dr. Matthew Achigbe.
‘In as much as I am quite humbled by such recognition and rare priveledge,  accorded me,  in being part of the change in our state. And my Uncommon disposition as a critic,  I wish to state that I was not duly notified,  and my opinion was not sought. Whoever forwarded my name must have acted in goodwill,  but I am constrained at this critical period in my career to not be in the employ of a political party.
‘I once again accept the honour done me, However at appropraite time we will gladly take up responsibilty(sic) for service to our people, and political party.
‘This is not to say,  I will not continue to be a voice in the advancement of our state. And in support of Candidates who I am convinced will be of Better service to our people.
‘I have however begun the process of writing to the state chairman, my position on the appointment. As well as the Chairman of the New Media Committee,  just innaugurated.’
BLOGGERTORIAL:
It’s obvious that the APC did not consult with the affected people before including their names into the 43 man committee and announcing it. Hmmm! This party  ehhhh! Incidentally, Joseph Odok has accepted his appointment already? Was he consulted before now?
