CRSG partners to renovate doctor’s quarters in General Hospital, deployment of doctors begin

Following the employment of doctors in the State to cushion the effect of the shortage of Human Resource for Health, the Cross River State Government in collaboration with Pathfinder International and the Society of Gynecologists and Obstetricians of Nigeria (SOGON), Cross River State Chapter has renovated a four bedroom bungalow at the Ogoja General Hospital in the State NEGROIDHAVEN has garnered. 
According to the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Inyang Asibong, the renovation is part of an array of activities by the State Government funneled towards achieving a healthy Cross River State. 
"The State Government saw it important to renovate and furnish the apartment to curb accommodation issues that always accompanies rural posting. This is all geared towards achieving Universal Health Coverage and reducing maternal mortality.
It will also serve as a lounge for doctors posted to Northern Cross River to access other rural communities in the region."
The four bedroom bungalow has been exquisitely furnished to give class, relaxation and comfort to the doctors as they discharge their duties diligently.
