EYO EKPO: SDP guber candidate trashes Ayade, Owan-Enoh on online poll

The governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Mr. Eyo Ekpo has floored the current Governor of the State, Sen. Ben Ayade and the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), who is also the Senator representing the Central Senatorial District, Sen. Owan-Enoh in an online poll NEGROIDHAVEN has garnered.

The online poll which was conducted by Calabar Observer and the result posted on their Instagram and twitter pages, had Mr. Eyo Ekpo of the SDP come first with 33% of the votes cast, the incumbent Governor and flag bearer of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Sen. Ben Ayade, coming second with 28% of votes cast and John Owan-Enoh of the APC coming a distant 3rd with 6% of the total votes.

In a related development, Mr. Eyo Ekpo, the gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has asked entertainers in the state and Cross Riverians alike to “call to mind those glory days” when the state “welcomed people from far and wide, taught them our customs, embraced them with our culture, fed them, gave them drink and boosted our economy as we did so, putting money in the hands of big and small businesses” but that has not been the case in the recent past.

Eyo Ekpo who posted this on his social media handles, charged entertainers to use “their craft as a tool to rebuild our state, to turn our fortunes around, to take our state back to the days of pride and prosperity.
