Fast rising C’River entrepreneur launches book

A Lagos-based Cross River youth enterpreneur, Louis Bassey, has launched his book. The book, titled, "Set Sail", was launched recently in Lagos.
Speaking at the City of David, Victoria Island, venue of the event, the book reviewer, Mr Ayomikun Olugbode, founder, Inspired Youth Network, a non-governmental organization based in Lagos, lauded the author for doing a great job by bringing coherence to bear in the overall organization of ideas from chapter to chapter. This, the reviewer remarked, would keep readers' interest glued to the content of every page.
Mr Olugbode urged youths to read "Set Sail", especially in this era where advocacy for youths inclusion in politics and governance is reaching an effervescent point.
Speaking further, the Inspired Youth Network boss said the book will prepare the younger generation and reposition them for the anticipated paradigm shift in Nigeria's political space by imparting in them requisite knowledge to guide them on the right path. Olugbode however noted that the book is receiving global attention as it already has several reviews on Amazon.
"The author of "Set Sail" did a great job in meticulously organizing the chapters such that readers would be hungry for more once a chapter has been read. I wish to urge youths to read "Set Sail", most especially in this era of youth advocacy and political inclusiveness. This book will prepare youngsters for the much anticipated paradigm shift in the Nigerian political space with the requisite knowledge and instruction to guide and direct them in the right path.

On what inspired him to write the book, "Set Sail", the Cross River-born enterpreneur and youth activist, Louis Orok Bassey, said: " I've been privileged to be under the tutelage of several mentors of whom I learned from their wealth of wisdom. Over the past 5 years, I've been reading autobiographies of great men and women, people who made impact on their lifetime, and so, that is where the idea of "Set Sail" came about."
 
Giving brief insights on the book and how it intends to help the youths, the multi talented author said that "Set Sail" would help navigate youths through their journey in life to their destinations and help them in the process of self-discovery and rediscovery, adding that  "the book is a classic motivational book meant to inspire you and give you the needed  push and motivation to get to your yonder".
