NSF2018 UPDATE: C/River adds 3 more medals to its kitty

ABUJA – Cross River State team taking part in the 2018 National Sports Festival in Abuja, has, as of Thursday the 13th, added three more medals to its already secured 12 medals, thereby bringing the total number of medals the state has gotten from the competition thus far to 15 NEGROIDHAVEN can report authoritatively. The medals are: 1 gold in athletics, 1 silver in weightlifting and 1 bronze in karate.

The latest gold medal which came through Ismaila Sadjo was unique in that the athlete completed a 25 lap marathon of 10,000 meter in 31 minutes 37 seconds to the delight of spectators.

Sadjo who could not hide his joy for such a spectacular performance remarked: " I feel good. I'm happy winning the 10,000 meters. To me everything is about training. I'm not going to rest. I will continue to work hard and prepare for the next level. When you train hard, you win easily. That is my secret. I hope to do better in next competition."
