The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC Mr Muhammadu Buhari, Wednesday, publicly acknowledged Senator John Owan-Enoh as the authentic governorship candidate of the APC in Cross River State NEGROIDHAVEN can say authoritatively.
This development happened at the U. J. Esuene Sports stadium during the presidential campaign rally of the APC in Cross River State.
President Buhari with the assistance of the national chairman of the ruling political party, APC Comr. Adams Oshiomhole, and the acting state chairman of the APC Sir John Ochalla, raised the hands of Owan-Enoh as the flagbearer of the party.
Ochalla while addressing the crowd of supporters at the sports stadium tasked Mr President to caution the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Pastor Usani Uguru Usani against destabilising the party in the state.
It will be recalled that Ochalla in a 28th January press release accused Usani of being an impostor. He warned the Niger Delta Affairs minister to desist from parading himself as gubernatorial candidate of the APC in the state. Minister Usani since 2018 has been laying claims to the APC governorship ticket despite the party acknowledging Sen. Owan Enoh as its authentic flag bearer.
