23 Megawatt power station commences distribution in Cross River

The 23 Megawatt Power Station located at Parliamentary Extension in Calabar, Cross River capital city has began power generation and distribution to designated locations in the metropolis of Calabar.
Between 10AM of Friday 16th August until press time, there has been constant power supply which has powered the street lights in Calabar. It extended to some parts of State Housing, Governor's Office, Marian Road, Akai Efa, MCC etc. 
According to a source not authorised to speak on the development, the station has distributed about 9 Megawatts. The governor has directed that more of Calabar Municipality be distributed to. 
The development has sparked discussion among Cross Riverians on social media has seen commendations trolling Gov. Ben Ayade.
