Pained by the news of the death of four young men who were murdered in the early hours of Tuesday, 21st of October in Okundi, Boki Local Government Area by suspected cultists, the Secretary to State Government expressed worry in youth involvement in crime amidst opportunities of positive engagements while she condemned the act in strong terms NEGROIDHAVEN can say authoritatively.
According to the Information Unit, Office of the Secretary to State Government of Cross River State. Barr. Tina Banku Agbor who is surrounded by mostly, people of the younger generation and is known for her persistent condemnation of Cult activities and other social vices was devastated by the news of the unfortunate incident.
However, while she sympathizes with the family of the victims and the entire Boki nation, she reiterates the need for Boki political and traditional leaders to come together with one voice and strongly condemn the cult activities in Boki with a view to curbing their activities. She also assures the people of the immediate response from government in bringing the culprits to book as well as restoring calm in the affected area.
